Hang on for the Ride

You may wonder why I’ve been so absent the past few weeks.

Things have gotten CRAZY. As I updated a couple weeks ago, I had health stuff going on, which I’ll still need surgery for at some point in the near future. That’s just one little thing that’s happening.

Work has been crazy busy. Selling my house in Olathe took a ton of effort, paperwork, and running around town.

And in the midst of that, we’ve started packing because Nicole and I are buying a new house together. It’s beautiful. It was our favorite of the houses we saw, and it was perfectly priced. Inspections are done and it all looks good. It took us a couple weeks to get the HOA to approve our much-needed privacy fence, but even that’s done now.

We close in 20 days. We move in on the 5th and 6th. In between when we signed the contract and our close, we had a trip to Omaha for a wedding, we have a dance recital for Lu, and we are going to Arizona the 27th through October 2nd. We come back from that trip and close the next day.

Add to that our normal daily routine, and you’ve got a busy couple of folks!

It’s busy, but it’s happy busy! That’s the best kind of busy to be.
