No Rights for Non-Americans

What I want to know is, what the heck is the difference between what happened at Abu Ghraib and what happens every single year at frat houses and sorority houses around the country?

Far be it from me to condone torturing people, but come on… these people were not tortured. They were humiliated, but not tortured. Everybody gets humiliated at certain points in their life. It’s inevitable. Ok, so now you’re a POW… yeah. It sucks to be a POW. Life’s rough. Maybe you should have fought harder instead of surrendering like a pansy.

Liberals are outraged at what happened at Abu Ghraib, but they seem to forget that the Iraqi government was doing far worse to their own people just two years ago. Would the men at Abu Ghraib rather have Lynndie taking pictures of them, or have their own government torture and execute them?

Neither option is good, but I think we can all agree that the “not being killed” option is the best.

It’s the same complex we have over here. People are FREAKING out because Arnold said we should protect our borders. He has a right to talk… he immigrated legally. People are up in arms that illegals should have driver’s licenses, education, and other benefits without contributing to the tax base.

If you are here illegally, you are not a citizen. Non-citizens are not protected by the American bill of rights. The bill of rights is FOR Americans. We extend those rights now to illegals, terrorists, and combatants of war. What the heck is wrong with us?

We are going to defend non-American’s rights until we hammer our economy and our way of life into the ground. Each push to give more rights to non-Americans puts another nail in America’s coffin.

First let me agree with you and then I will say the biggest difference between a frat and Abu Garcia (LOL that funny it is a fishing reel!) bUT THE DIFFERENCE is frats are there by their own volition whereas the innmates are POW’s. Personally I think if we aren’t seperating thier heads from thier shoulders, it is all fair game and should be encouraged not punished.

    Fucking cry baby fucks.

Go back to the trees you pot heads.

I honestly believe everything is politically driven. If this incident would have been contained and was not made a public issue, the Americans involved, I think, would have gotten away with a slap on the wrist and put on potato peeling duty. But because we are under scrutiny for our actions regarding this war, we had look at the situation as if it were preposterous and scowl in the direction of those accused. We had to shake our heads and say “You all should be ashamed. How dare you disgrace this country and yourselves. Jubba Jubba Jubba.”

Exactly. And do you think bad stuff is happening to American POW’s? You betcha.

…and let us not forget that WE were not the ones decapitating *civilians* … also, speaking as somebody who snuck over here on a tourist visa … *I* am educated, speak English as my first language, work for a living, and pay taxes. *I* also had to get married to get a green card because the government was too busy handing out citizenship and welfare to middle-aged unskilled refugees who were illiterate in their own language and didn’t speak ours. I’m not bitter.

If you pay your taxes, you’re ok in my book.

…and low-income housing vouchers, and food stamps, and free stays in labor and delivery, and agencies that give away baby clothes, and free public education, and, did I miss anything?

Hmmph! But! My hamburgers are cheap. Landscapers are cheap. Wine is cheap. Guess all this is the cost of doing business in USA. Just don’t call it Mexico, please.

I challenge anyone who cries about letting everyone in this country legal or not, to come live in Southern California for a while. It is so over-run with immigrants that it’s insane, and they’re having babies by the truckloads that I (as a taxpayer) have to pay for. It pisses me off. See, I am not liberal *all* the time, Incredipete. 😉
